Data Deletion Instructions for Social Feeds

Introduction

If you have connected a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to HostBot’s Social Feeds integration and would like your related connection data removed, you may request deletion using the steps below.

Revoke Access Through Meta

You may revoke access to the integration at any time through your Meta, Facebook, or Instagram account settings.

Once access is revoked, the integration will no longer be able to retrieve new content or connection data from your account.

Request Deletion From HostBot

If you would like HostBot to delete connection-related data associated with the Social Feeds integration, please email us at support@hostbot.ca.

To help us process your request, please include:

  • your name
  • your business or organization name
  • your website domain
  • the connected Facebook Page name and/or Instagram username
  • a brief note confirming that you are requesting deletion of Social Feeds connection data

What We Will Delete

Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or disconnect stored connection-related data associated with the integration, which may include:

  • stored access tokens
  • account or Page connection references
  • cached feed data maintained for integration purposes
  • related connection metadata no longer required for support or legal purposes

Please note that we may retain limited records where necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or backup-related purposes.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
