Refund and Cancellation Policy
At HostBot, we value customer satisfaction and aim to provide transparent and flexible policies for refunds and cancellations. Please review the details below to understand how our policies apply to your hosting plan.
14-Day Free Trial
We offer a 14-day free trial for all new users. During this period, you can experience our premium hosting services without any obligation. If you choose to cancel within the trial period, you will not be charged. No payment will be required unless you continue with your plan beyond the 14-day trial.
Refunds for Paid Hosting Plans
Once your trial period ends and your subscription starts, we do not offer refunds for hosting plans. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time with a 20-day notice before your next billing cycle. This applies to both monthly and annual payment plans. For cancellations within this notice period, you will not be charged for the next cycle, and your service will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time with a 20-day notice prior to the start of your next billing cycle. To cancel, simply contact our support team, and they will assist you with the process. If you cancel after the 20-day notice period, your service will continue through the end of the next billing cycle, and no refunds will be issued.
Upgrading Your Hosting Plan
You can upgrade your hosting plan at any time from your account dashboard. The upgrade will be prorated based on your current billing cycle. Once upgraded, you will have immediate access to the additional resources and premium features.
Payment Options
We offer both monthly and annual payment options for all hosting plans. If you choose the annual plan, you can benefit from a 20% discount, which is automatically applied during checkout. This makes the annual plan a cost-effective option for long-term hosting. Cancellations for annual plans also require a 20-day notice prior to the renewal date.
Late Payments and Failed Transactions
In the event of a failed payment or late transaction, you will be notified via email. We will attempt to process the payment again within 7 days. If the issue is not resolved within this time frame, your account may be suspended, and access to hosting services may be temporarily disabled until the outstanding payment is settled.
Automatic Renewal
All hosting plans are set to automatically renew at the end of the current billing cycle. You will be notified of the upcoming renewal via email. If you wish to cancel your plan before renewal, please ensure you provide the required 20-day notice before the renewal date.
Service Suspension for Policy Violations
HostBot reserves the right to suspend or terminate services without notice if a user is found to be in violation of our terms and conditions, including but not limited to the use of our services for illegal activities, the distribution of malicious content, or excessive resource consumption that impacts other users.
No Refunds for Policy Violations
If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our terms of service, no refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period.
Chargebacks
In the event of a chargeback initiated by the customer, HostBot reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the customer’s hosting services until the issue is resolved. If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we reserve the right to recover any fees incurred during the chargeback process.
Data Retention After Cancellation
After a subscription is canceled, customer data will be retained for 30 days to allow for migration or data backup. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted from our servers. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have retrieved all necessary data before cancellation.
Exceptions to the Refund Policy
In rare cases of service outages that exceed our 99.9% uptime guarantee, customers may be eligible for a partial refund or credit on their account. These cases are reviewed individually and must be reported to our support team within 48 hours of the outage.
