Welcome to HostBot (www.hostbot.com). These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HostBot website and all services offered through it. By using HostBot’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using our services.
1. Modifications to Terms
HostBot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with changes taking effect 30 days after being posted on our website. Continued use of our services after modifications indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility to Use HostBot Services
HostBot’s services are only available to individuals 18 years of age or older, or to individuals under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If registering as a business entity, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business and bind it to these Terms.
3. Account Creation, Maintenance, and Security
By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. This includes a valid email address, billing information, and contact details. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and are liable for any activity that occurs under your account.
HostBot will not be responsible for any loss due to unauthorized access or use of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of security. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information or those involved in unauthorized activities.
4. Payment, Billing, and Cancellations
HostBot offers both monthly and annual payment plans for its hosting services. By opting for annual payment, you are eligible for a 20% discount, which will be applied at checkout. All services are set to auto-renew unless canceled 20 days prior to the next billing cycle.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through your account dashboard with sufficient notice (20 days prior to the renewal date). No refunds will be provided for partial months of service.
5. Service Suspension and Termination
HostBot reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for any account found in violation of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy. In certain cases, HostBot may terminate services without prior notice to protect our systems and other users. No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts.
6. Resource Usage and Limitations
All hosting accounts are subject to resource limits, including bandwidth, disk space, and server resources. Accounts exceeding their allotted resources may be throttled or suspended. Excessive usage that impacts other customers may result in service suspension or additional charges.
7. Backup and Data Retention
While HostBot performs routine backups, customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups of any data hosted on our servers. HostBot is not liable for any data loss resulting from hardware failures, software errors, or unauthorized access. Backups are available as an add-on service.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
All users must adhere to HostBot’s Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits the hosting or distribution of illegal content, malware, and any activities that interfere with other users. Accounts violating these policies will be suspended or terminated immediately.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HostBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for your hosting plan during the current billing period.
